Henry John Deutschendorf Jr. is a New Mexican born artist and songwriter who fell in love with Colorado. More than a few people traveled towards Colorado following the Denver's cult anthems to his adopted state. G. Brown, curator of the Colorado Music Hall of Fame stated that John Denver is the only artist to represent Colorado. Denver was the Hall of Fame's first to be inducted into the hall. Today, he is the face of Colorado on the world stage. When I travel, you will meet people on opposite sides of the planet. As an example, you might meet people who is from New Zealand. And when someone asks you if you're originally from Colorado people will respond with "Oh John Denver!" Brown said.
