Aisling Bea
Aisling was born on March 16 1984, on the island of Kildare Ireland. She is one of Ireland's best-known and popular comedians. She's appeared on QI alongside Stephen Fry. Aisling O'Sullivan, also than her stage title Aisling Bea (born March 16, 1984) is an Irish actress, writer and comedian. Bea started her professional career in stand-up comedy in 2011, following small parts she played on Irish and British television dramas from 2009. From 2012 on Bea began appearing on sketch comedy shows or sitcoms. She began appearing regularly in panel shows following the win of an award for in the Edinburgh Comedy Awards. In 2016 and 2017, she was a member of 8 Out of 10 Cats' team, and also a part-time participant of the 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown spinoff. Born in the family of Brian O'Sullivan and his wife, she was blessed with one sibling named Sinead. She was the winner of the So You Believe You're Funny Award twice. Bea Her maiden name, which is her birth name, pays tribute to her late dad. Aisling Cliodhnadh was born on the 16th of March, 1984, in Kildare Town, County Kildare. Bea's father Brian was a veterinarian who worked with horses who died by suicide aged three. But, she did not learn the cause for her father's death until she was 13 years old. In 2017, she composed an essay for The Guardian about the suicide of her father's family and adopted her stage name Bea in tribute. Bea (and her younger sister Sinead) was raised in a home by Helen Moloney who was a educator and jockey trainer who was a professional jockey. The family was obsessed with race meetings as well as horses. Bea spent her childhood as an instructor at the Irish National Stud. From a very young age, Bea knew that she was not interested in the racing industry. Instead, she was drawn to the performance arts.
